Flexible learning space within our library

The Main Learning Area

The main learning area is a vibrant space that can host everything from quiet reading on comfortable lounges to independent and group study. Furthermore, with the flick of a switch, the library can be transformed into a silent disco, a 100 student exam room, a debating platform, or a conference centre.

We are very proud to provide state of the art audio-visual equipment to facilitate a range of engaging learning events. Buddy Martin, a proud Kamilaroi man and 2019 ATSI Artist of the Year, painted a Biggiebilla art mural that celebrates community, learning, diversity, and acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land.

Library Computer Lab

There are 20 well maintained Lenovo personal computers available to students for educational and recreational purposes. Computer use is closely monitored and only games that have educational value are permitted. Students are supported to use the Library computers at recess, lunchtime, and at Homework Club to complete homework and assignments.

The library also boasts a newly painted multimedia room that can be used as a classroom or break out space. It comes complete with a data projector and speakers making it purpose-built for engaging lesson delivery.
