At Punchbowl Boys' High School, we take great pride in being the home of the back-to-back Stage 4 Premier's Debating Challenge champions (2018 & 2019) for Zone 12 of the Sydney South West region.
What We Offer
To sustain our excellence in debating, we offer a number of tools and programs for both students and teachers:
- Premier's Debating Challenge
- Debating Training Day (in collaboration with the University of Sydney Union)
- Senior's Debate Tournament Day (in collaboration with the University of Sydney Union)
- Junior's Debate Tournament Day (in collaboration with the University of Sydney Union)
- Trained debating coaches
- Professional development programs for English Teachers with a focus on building coaching skills in debating.
