Why do you have an e-Sports Academy?
In response to the continued surge of the gaming phenomenon, Punchbowl Boys’ High School have launched a new e-Sports program that aims to develop students’ skills in priority management, cybersafety, career transition, and pro-social interactions.
What does the program offer students?
On top of priority management, cybersafety, career transition, and pro-social interaction, the future-focused program also assists students in developing a better grasp of coding, improve their industry understanding, and provide them with opportunities to engage in critical and creative thinking.
What does e-Sports Academy look like at Punchbowl Boys' High School?
Our e-Sports Academy offers students the opportunity to:
- Engage in structured lessons following a teaching and learning program that targets the development of literacies associated with e-Sports
- Learn from a qualified science teacher who special interest and skills in e-sports
- Learn in a fully-furnished e-Sports hub
- Utilise state-of-the-art computers and consoles from M-Wave for their learning needs.
